My hubby and I are about to celebrate 2 years of wedded bliss.
During the week leading up to our anniversary we always say “this is our anniversary week”. This week we try to focus on us and do our best to show each other love through little thoughtful things or words. I think its important on a wedding anniversary to celebrate your love for each other and remember why you got married in the first place. I also think its just as important to give a thoughtful gift. No, it doesn’t have to be a super expensive store bought, generic, hallmark gift!! Instead I feel like it should be something from the heart, made with love and filled with meaning.

Did you know that there is an actual list of traditional wedding anniversary gifts !?!?! I had no idea either until last year. It gave my crafty self a great idea to DIY a gift each year based on this list.

Seeing that the 1st year is Paper I was a little intimidated. Since my crafting style is more, fabric, yarn and ribbon. No need to fear though I came up with a super easy, meaningful gift. This picture frame filled with google map locations of all our first’s. Super Cute Right ?
You will need:
- Computer
- Color Printer
- Picture Frame
- Scissors
- Glue
- I google searched all of our first’s- Our first date, first kiss, first vacation so on and so forth.
- Drew and cut out a heart stencil
- printed out the google map of each location
- stenciled the location with the heart shape
- glued the hearts on the paper
- Let glue dry
- Put in picture frame
